Our client is urgently seeking a security cleared Project Planner to undertake a new contract.

The role:

1. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, deliverables, tasks, and timelines.
3. Create detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
4. Assess resource requirements and allocate personnel, equipment, and materials for project tasks.
5. Generate regular progress reports and present them to project managers and stakeholders.
6. Assist in identifying potential risks and uncertainties that could impact project timelines.
7. Manage changes to the project schedule resulting from scope changes or unforeseen events.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Active SC Clearance
• Experience supporting Project Delivery
• Maritime experience, preferably torpedoes / submarine related
• Ability to craft and own a detailed project schedule, Level 1 plan, and work breakdown structure
• Comfortable working in the Cat A project delivery environment, understanding assurance and scrutiny requirements, and able to work through delivery friction at pace
• Experience with MODNet / MS Suite of tools / DE&S project management and risk tools
• Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
• APMP – Project Management
• Either APMP or PRINCE2, MSP would be a nice-to-have, as would MoR
