Do you want to help build affordable, quality homes for those who need it most and build your career at the same time?

Are you interested in starting a career in affordable housing development or seeking a new challenge?

If so, keep reading.

At Stonewater, we have ambitious growth targets and are looking for a Project Officer to support and drive our development programme.

We recognize the urgent need for new homes, and our strategic partnership with Guinness and Homes England has secured an additional GBP 250m to build 4,180 affordable homes by 2029, ensuring long-term security to focus on quality. We have a strong platform to achieve our goals, making this an exciting time to join our organization and be part of our next phase. Our targets are significant, positioning us as one of the largest developing housing associations in the country, with a pioneering approach to environmental standards. But it's not just about numbers; our staff embody our values and bring their whole selves to work daily. We prioritize customers and foster a collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused environment, making our colleagues our greatest asset.

If you want to be part of an organization and team like ours, we want to hear from you.

Although this is a home-based role, it involves occasional travel to development sites. Therefore, we ask that you are located within the region and flexible to travel within your local area.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an interest in or knowledge of housing, especially affordable housing.
  • Be confident, independent, and proactive in your work and relationships with colleagues.
  • Have a customer-focused approach.
  • Possess excellent administrative and problem-solving skills.
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check, references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
