The appointment is subject to the Conditions of Service for Business Support Staff. All successful applicants will undergo the following checks:
The salary range for this post is from £32,333 to £34,974 per annum. Your starting salary depends on your qualifications and experience. After passing your probation, your salary will increase annually within the salary band until the top is reached.
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
25 days plus 8 public holidays and 5 discretionary days. After 2 years, entitlement increases to 30 days. Leave of more than 3 consecutive weeks requires Director’s permission, only in exceptional circumstances.
The College offers the Local Government Pension Scheme.
9 months, including mandatory induction and training sessions on Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, GDPR, Cyber Security, and Health & Safety. Completion of these is required for successful probation.
Two satisfactory references are required.
The role is based at the College but may require work at other locations.
The College will validate essential qualifications. If a qualification is a contractual requirement, funding availability for related courses cannot be guaranteed.
Minimum Level 2 qualification in both; if not held, must be obtained during employment.
The College is committed to safeguarding. All staff will undertake safeguarding training during probation.
Applicants successful at interview will undergo online checks and a DBS check, with costs deducted from the first salary.
