Job summary

Russell Taylor Group in Greater Manchester is seeking a Project Manager to drive commercial and industrial projects from conception through to handover. You will coordinate labour and subcontractors to meet tight schedules on schemes valued from £10m to £60m.

Experience with conversions and refurbishments, including heritage or education projects, is advantageous. A strong contracting background and capability to chair design meetings during early design stages are essential.

My client is regional main contractor due to an increase in developments in the Northwest they are looking to increase their management team with a Project Manager. The Project Manager they are looking for will have proven experience working new builds, delivering said projects from inception through to completion and hand over. Their project values ranging from £10 million to £60million.

They have had an upturn in projects within conversions and refurbishments . So are looking for proven project delivering experience of these types of schemes. These projects are £16million to £19million with some with heritage some education, so any previous experience would be an advantage.

As an Project Manager you will be aware of planning procedures and following tight site time schedules. You will be responsible for organising labour and ensuring all sub-contractors are following plans as to the programme and meeting deadlines as required.

You will be involved in the project from initial design stages so understanding of design and experience in chairing design meetings is essential for this no1 position.

As a business they deliver a good variety of type of buildings within commercial and industrial new builds so a good overall contracting background is preferred.

The successful Project Manager will have the highest quality standards and experience in delivering projects. With good worth ethic and client relations experience.
