Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our East Midlands delivery team in Nottingham. You will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safety, programme, budget and quality are maintained at the highest standard.

You will report to the Contracts Manager and may travel and lodge away on various assignments across the region, contributing to a strong project pipeline and a collaborative, supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field required.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications expected.
• Membership of CIOB, APM or equivalent professional body preferred.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Experience delivering projects up to £20m across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects through all phases of delivery.
• Develop and manage project programmes, resources and budgets.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client expectations, contractual requirements and company standards.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project reporting and chair progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support successful project handover and completion.

Our client is a well-established East Midlands regional contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their delivery team.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will oversee all aspects of project performance, ensuring schemes are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager seeking to work on a varied portfolio of projects, we’re looking for someone who is willing to travel and lodge away.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Degree/HNC/HND in Construction Management, Building Studies or a related discipline.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
• Membership of CIOB, APM or similar professional body.
• Proven experience operating as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Experience delivering commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, residential or public sector projects up to the value of £20m
• Strong programme management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of construction contracts and project finances.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead project teams effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
