Job summary

AO is seeking a WMS Project Manager to lead complex warehouse and logistics projects in a fast-paced retail environment. You will work with business process owners, solution architects and senior stakeholders to design, build and deliver scalable WMS solutions that drive real value.

You’ll own multiple projects, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure governance and documentation meet PMO standards. The role requires strong stakeholder management and experience with Azure DevOps, Power Platform

• Experience delivering technical logistics or fulfilment projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics workflows.
• Ability to translate operational needs into structured WMS requirements.
• Experience in fast-paced, retail environments.
• Experience in strategic transformation programmes.
• Skilled at managing third-party implementers, suppliers and offshore teams.
• Confident stakeholder management and governance.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.

You’ll work with business process owners, solution architects, WMS consultants, integrators and senior stakeholders to design, build and deliver solutions that make a difference. Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

You’ll own and deliver multiple WMS projects, keeping scope, timelines, budgets and quality on track. You’ll manage dependencies across D365 modules and external systems, and work closely with Warehouse Managers, Operations Leaders, Supply Chain teams and IT to align deliverables with business goals. You’ll challenge requirements to enforce standardisation, facilitate cross-team communication, support change management activities, and establish governance standards for scope, RAID management and decision-making. Clear documentation, transparent reporting and alignment with PMO standards are all part of your toolkit.

A Few Things About You

• Proven experience delivering technical logistics, supply chain and/or fulfilment projects end-to-end
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes and workflows
• Ability to translate operational needs into structured WMS requirements
• Experience in fast-paced, retail-focused environments
• Experience in strategic transformation programmes
• Skilled at managing third-party implementers, suppliers and offshore teams
• Confident stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
• Proactive governance, RAID management and communication abilities
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
• Understanding of functional and technical elements (extensions, integrations, Power Platform)
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and ensure acceptance criteria reflect operational requirements
• Bonus points for knowledge of Azure DevOps, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, WCS/WES integrations, warehouse automation, and integration technologies like API, batch jobs and EDI
