Job summary

Trant Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer for Water projects in South East England to support design, construction, commissioning, and documentation.

You will work closely with site teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure technical compliance, safety and quality across complex EPC-type projects. The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Process/Environmental engineering background, UK standards knowledge, and experience in water/process projects, with a focus on technical excellence and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Understanding of UK engineering standards and regulations.
• Health & Safety awareness relevant to construction projects.
• Proficiency with technical documentation and drawings.
• Experience supporting site teams and design coordination.
• Experience preparing project documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in technical delivery of projects, supporting design, construction, commissioning and documentation.
• Provide technical support to site teams during construction and installation.
• Coordinate with design engineers, consultants and subcontractors for constructability.
• Review submissions and comment on design changes.
• Assist in procurement activities aligned with project programme.
• Support preparation of reports, submittals and handover documentation.
