Raven is here to make a difference, working as a team to build homes and change lives.

Raven is a great place to work, both to deliver real outcomes for customers, and to build a career in a supportive and motivated environment.

Our performance speaks for itself in terms of how we deliver for customers, which is reflected in our reputation in the sector. We have a very strong culture of working together to make things happen, and 99% of our staff are proud to work for Raven.

The team are at the centre of the most ambitious programmes to transform Raven. These include the recent award-winning implementation of MS Dynamics to bring almost all our activities onto a single platform, and another award-winning implementation of improvements to our Repairs activities. This year we are working on even more transformative change, which you will be actively engaged in.

What you’ll achieve and experience in the role:

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion. You’ll take ownership of planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to agreed scope and business priorities. You will monitor progress, manage project teams, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues to keep projects on track throughout their lifecycle.

By the nature of the work we do in the team, you will be involved in activities across the whole organisation, and will have direct engagement with senior leaders up to CEO level.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Partner with the business to develop clear business cases and project initiation documents and define comprehensive project plans that support prioritisation and successful delivery across projects, portfolios, and products.
  • Work within Raven’s change and project framework, providing updates in line with governance reporting cycles, and ensure all projects fully comply with the company’s project methodology and standards.
  • Keep business stakeholders continuously informed on project progress through clear updates, including RAID logs, and RAG status reporting.
What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Strong project management, organisational, and collaboration skills, with the ability to anticipate risks, develop solutions quickly, and remain effective in environments of ambiguity, frequent change, and unpredictability
  • 2 years of proven project delivery experience, part of which would have been in the housing section/housing environment
  • Prince2/PMI certification or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Project and Portfolio Management tools such as Visio and MS Project.
