Job summary

Wates Smartspace in Leamington Spa area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver planned retrofit works across occupied social housing properties. You’ll lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, programme, budget and quality are met while working with operational teams, clients, residents and the supply chain.

The role requires strong track record in social housing planned works and retrofit, with SMSTS, CSCS and full UK driving licence.

Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of planned retrofit projects, we are looking to strengthen our existing team with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager based around the Leamington Spa area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading social housing contractor delivering high-profile retrofit and decarbonisation programmes that improve homes, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance communities across the region.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of planned retrofit works across occupied social housing properties. You will manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with operational teams, commercial colleagues, clients, residents, and supply chain partners, you will lead schemes that include:

• Retrofit and decarbonisation programmes
• External Wall Insulation (EWI)
• Energy efficiency improvements
• Roofing and fabric upgrades
• Window and door replacements
• Associated planned maintenance works

Key Responsibilities

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
