Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth is seeking a professional Project Manager to lead end-to-end development of secure communications infrastructure and software. You will drive projects from inception to completion, reporting to the Programme Manager.

The role requires experience across full project lifecycle, a strong telecom or satellite background, and familiarity with AGILE and PMI lifecycle guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience with full project lifecycle management from proposal to customer acceptance.
• Strong technical background in telecommunications or satellite systems, software, or equipment development.
• Experience managing AGILE software development projects.
• Familiar with PMI lifecycle guidance and Airbus standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing of complex secure communications projects.
• Manage complex development projects per Airbus lifecycle standards.
• Apply core project management methods within a dynamic R&D environment.
• Leverage communication and leadership to steer projects through a rapidly changing landscape and ensure delivery.
