Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow in Manchester leads hybrid, Agile delivery from inception to live deployment, coordinating governance, budgets, and stakeholder engagement. You will drive cross-functional teams and manage key client relationships in a fast-paced, public sector environment.

With active UK security clearance or eligibility, you’ll work on front-line transformation programs, leveraging hybrid cloud and AI to deliver real business impact across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery experience.
• Proven consultancy and client-facing delivery in the public sector (GDS/CDDO frameworks).
• Active UK Security Clearance (SC/DV) or immediate eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Delivery & Governance: Lead Agile/hybrid project lifecycles from inception to live deployment. Manage RAID logs, scope, and delivery timelines under public sector governance.
• Commercial & Financial Control: Track budgets, SOW compliance, resource utilization, and project margins.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main delivery point of contact for senior civil servants and client leadership.
• Team Leadership: Foster high-performing, cross-functional pods (service designers, user researchers, engineers) in a collaborative environment.
  Consultancy & Public Sector Experience: Proven track record in client-facing consulting and delivering public sector tech/digital transformations (GDS/CDDO frameworks).
• Certifications & Methods: Hands-on Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery experience. PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or CSM preferred.
• Clearance: Active UK Security Clearance (SC/DV) or immediate eligibility.
• Core Skills: Commercial acumen, executive stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
