Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking a highly capable Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional delivery teams on complex application development and maintenance initiatives. You will manage scope, cost, and timelines, ensuring contractual and business requirements are met while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

The role requires technical understanding, leadership, and a proactive approach to drive project success within a hybrid, client-facing environment in the UK.

• Build and maintain teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well.
• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of systems.
• Focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them.
• Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement.

Your Role And Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex application development and maintenance projects. You will be responsible for managing project scope, cost, and timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet business and contractual requirements. You will manage internal stakeholder relationships, define implementation schedules, and ensure compliance with strategic and regulatory standards. You will also provide risk systems expertise to support key bureau relationships and bank-wide initiatives. This is a dynamic role requiring technical understanding, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to driving project success.
