Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking a senior delivery professional to lead hybrid cloud and AI initiatives for public and private sector clients across the UK. You’ll drive Agile delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement with senior civil servants and client leadership.

You’ll manage budgets, SOWs, and cross‑functional pods, while ensuring compliance with security clearances (SC/DV) and industry best practices.

Your role and responsibilities

• Delivery & Governance: Lead Agile/hybrid project lifecycles from inception to live deployment. Manage RAID logs, scope, and delivery timelines under public sector governance.

• Commercial & Financial Control: Track budgets, SOW compliance, resource utilization, and project margins.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main delivery point of contact for senior civil servants and client leadership.

• Team Leadership: Foster high-performing, cross-functional pods (service designers, user researchers, engineers) in a collaborative environment.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Consultancy & Public Sector Experience: Proven track record in client-facing consulting and delivering public sector tech/digital transformations (GDS/CDDO frameworks).

• Certifications & Methods: Hands-on Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery experience. PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or CSM preferred.

• Clearance: Active UK Security Clearance (SC/DV) or immediate eligibility.

• Core Skills: Commercial acumen, executive stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
