Working with clinical, operational, and corporate teams, the postholder will manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring benefits are realised, patient care is enhanced, and organisational objectives are achieved. The role supports the delivery of transformation programmes, capacity improvements, cost efficiencies, and NHS strategic priorities while maintaining high standards of quality, governance, and patient safety.

The postholder works closely with clinical, operational, and corporate teams to implement service improvements, support transformation initiatives, and realise measurable benefits. They are responsible for managing project timelines, risks, resources, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with NHS strategic objectives, governance requirements, and patient safety standards.

The Project Manager (Productivity and Transformation) is responsible for leading and delivering projects that improve operational efficiency, productivity, and patient outcomes across the organisation. Working with clinical and non-clinical teams, the postholder will support service improvement and transformation initiatives, manage project plans and stakeholder engagement, monitor progress and benefits realisation, and ensure projects are delivered in line with organisational objectives, governance requirements, and NHS priorities.
