The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is seeking a Senior Project Manager to steer major capital, infrastructure and service transformation projects within the New QEH Programme. You will lead the day-to-day management of redevelopment projects, aligning clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to deliver safe, on-time outcomes.

You will develop project plans, governance and risk management processes and ensure governance compliance across the full lifecycle, while managing budgets and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and engage stakeholders to ensure delivery within budget and timeframes.
  • Ensure compliance with NHS, Trust and New Hospital Programme requirements throughout the lifecycle.

Job description

The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in the successful planning,developmentand delivery of major projects and workstreams within the New QEH Programme. Working as part of the programme delivery team, the post holder willbe responsible forleading the day-to-day management of complex capital, infrastructure and service transformation projects associated with the redevelopment of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn.

The post holder will provide specialist project management expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, effectively, on time and within agreed budgets. They will lead the development of project plans, business cases, governance arrangements, reporting mechanisms and risk management processes, whilst ensuring compliance with Trust, NHS and New Hospital Programme requirements.

The Senior Project Manager will work collaboratively with clinical, operational,corporateand external stakeholders, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing competing priorities to ensure successful delivery of programmeobjectives.

Projects managed by the post holder will be of significant organisationalimportance, involving complex stakeholder environments, substantial financialinvestmentand direct impact on future healthcare services and infrastructure.
