Job summary

Brown & Wills Recruitment is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead a £2.5m residential development in the Knaresborough area. You will oversee programme, budget, and subcontractors on site, ensuring the project meets design, schedule, and quality targets.

This role requires SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS, strong IT and paperwork skills, and excellent communication with clients and trades. You will ensure HS&E compliance and drive high standards across the build from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in new build site/project management for residential projects up to £3m.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certifications.
• Strong IT and paperwork skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage Subcontractors on site, to specification, programme and budget.
• Ensuring HS&E and quality standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood, implemented, and adhered to at all times.
• Quality management – ensuring high standards of quality are achieved, addressing any issues with sub-contractors / trades.
• Client management / liaison.

To be considered for this role you should fit the following criteria

• Have a proven track record operating in a newbuild Site / Project Management position within the newbuild sector on residential traditional, timber frame and apartment build, on values upto £3m.
• Hold valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS certification.
• Strong IT / paperwork skills.
