Job summary

Reinforced Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for a brand-new £10 million mixed-use development in London, from commencement through to completion.

The scheme includes 38 residential flats across four floors with commercial space at basement and ground levels; the role requires leading the site team, programme management, and close coordination with the commercial team to control costs and ensure successful handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering residential or mixed-use developments of a similar scale.
• Experience managing projects valued at around £10 million or more.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced-concrete frame construction, external-envelope packages and drainage systems.
• Ability to lead a project from site setup through to handover.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong programme, commercial and subcontractor-management capabilities.
• Current SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• A relevant construction qualification, such as an HNC, HND or degree, would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing the programme, budget, quality and health and safety performance.
• Establishing the site and developing effective project-delivery plans.
• Leading the site team, subcontractors, consultants and supply chain.
• Managing procurement, design development and technical coordination.
• Monitoring progress and implementing recovery plans where necessary.
• Chairing project meetings and reporting to senior management and the client.
• Working closely with the commercial team to maintain cost control.
• Ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and contractual requirements.
• Overseeing inspections, commissioning, snagging and final handover.

An established main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for a brand-new £10 million mixed-use development from commencement through to completion.

The scheme comprises 38 residential flats arranged over four floors, with commercial accommodation at basement and ground-floor levels.

Project scope

• Concrete raft foundations
• Reinforced-concrete frame structure
• Brick and metal external cladding
• Blue-roof system and attenuation drainage
• Residential and commercial fit-out
• Associated hard and soft landscaping

The role

• Managing the programme, budget, quality and health and safety performance
