Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a new-build residential development in Church Crookham, Hampshire. You will take ownership from early construction through to completion and handover, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires proven No.1 site management experience in traditional-build housing, excellent subcontractor coordination, and strong site leadership. A permanent, full-time position with an attractive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as No.1 Site Manager on new-build housing developments.
• SMSTS qualification and CSCS certification.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification/certificate.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the development.
• Manage the construction process from DPC through to completion and handover.
• Ensure works are completed to a consistently high standard.
• Manage subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and site presentation.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure defects are identified and rectified.
• Liaise with the wider project team, contractors and suppliers.
• Manage snagging, completion and final handover.
• Ensure properties are presented to a high standard for potential purchasers.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and health & safety documentation.

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + Package

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for a new-build residential development in Church Crookham, Hampshire.

The development consists of 9 high-quality 3 and 4-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, built for the private sale market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced No.1 Site Manager with a strong background in traditional-build housing to take ownership of a small, quality-focused development from early construction through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong track record working for or alongside residential house builders/developers.
• Experience managing traditional-build homes from DPC through to completion and handover.
• Strong understanding of construction quality and finishing standards.
• Excellent subcontractor and site management skills.
• Good knowledge of health & safety requirements and construction processes.
• SMSTS qualification.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification/certificate.
• CSCS certification appropriate to the role.
