A Project Manager is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider.

Your New Role

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our client’s team in London. The team works on a hybrid basis and is open to remote opportunities.

• Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension)
• Daily Rate: £550 per day via umbrella
• Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday

As a Project Manager, you will lead one or more workstreams on a business transformation programme, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. You will play a key role in creating and launching a new Satellite Services company (SatCo) to offer a wholesale satellite proposition to our client’s OpCos, Partner Markets, and selected MNOs.

• Define workstream scope by supporting the Workstream Lead in outlining all deliverables, activities, and owners.
• Create and maintain workstream activity plans, including dependencies within and across workstreams.
• Establish and follow a regular schedule of meetings and governance aligned with the wider programme.
• Coordinate deliverable owners to ensure timely delivery and proactively mitigate risks.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks within the workstream, seeking mitigations to reduce impact.
• Provide regular and accurate progress updates as required by the PMO Manager and workstream lead.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and properly stored.
• Collaborate with technology, commercial, and regulatory teams to advance the programme despite current broadcasting restrictions from Ofcom.

Requirements to Succeed

• Experience working with international teams and markets.
• Proven track record managing projects within complex business creation or transformation programmes.
• Experience in technical delivery projects in telecommunications, including Network & IT & Operational readiness.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop solutions.
• Excellent reporting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Previous experience in telecommunications is essential.
