Job summary

Advania Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer-facing delivery of infrastructure, cloud, workplace, security and managed services. You will own projects from engagement through handover, working with customer teams and internal delivery groups to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes supported by operations.

The role aligns to our Manchester or London offices, with a hybrid working policy.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful customer-facing delivery of infrastructure, Microsoft cloud, workplace, security and managed service projects across our customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial engagement through to operational handover, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget and ready to be successfully supported by operational teams. This role requires an individual who can confidently engage with customers, coordinate technical delivery teams, manage governance and ensure project outcomes are embedded into business-as-usual support services. The Project Manager will act as the single point of ownership throughout the delivery lifecycle, providing a seamless experience for customers and internal stakeholders alike. The successful candidates will be aligned to our offices in either Manchester or London.

Salary And Benefits

The budgeted salary for this role is between £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.

Essential

• Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Demonstrable experience managing customer-facing IT infrastructure, cloud, or managed service projects.
• Experience coordinating Service Transition or operational onboarding activities.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience managing risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.

Desirable

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent.
• Experience using ServiceNow Project Management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including M365, Azure and Managed Services.
• Experience supporting customer onboarding and Acceptance into Service activities
