Job summary

Sizewell C Company is recruiting for a Project Manager, Main Civils (Metal) to oversee the Pools, Tanks and Liners scope for Sizewell C. The role spans across Avonmouth and Suffolk, coordinating contractors for safe, timely, cost‑effective delivery within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

You will lead a range of mechanical/manufacturing work packages, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with RAMS and ITPs, while coordinating with client representatives and tier‑2 partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering technically complex work in a regulated environment.
• Strong fabrication and welding background, ideally in a workshop setting.
• Experience managing third‑party, multidisciplinary teams for a client.
• Ability to interpret detailed drawings, RAMS and ITPs.
• Knowledge of control‑of‑work processes and related tools.
• Understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with management‑of‑change processes.
• Strong communication, coordination and contractor management skills.
• Ability to coach and organise suppliers to achieve safe, high‑quality delivery.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel; AutoCAD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly meetings with suppliers and subcontractors; coordinate activities and resolve delivery issues.
• Prepare technical documentation to support project delivery.
• Coordinate procurement of plant, equipment and materials.
• Support manufacturing activities through production meetings and risk reviews.
• Manage project costs, variations, cash‑flow forecasts, schedules and risks.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, ITPs and construction plans.
• Review contractor plans and participate in planning meetings.
• Audit safety, quality, cost and delivery performance.
