Sizewell C Company seeks a Construction Manager to lead the self-delivered Pools, Tanks and Sumps programme at Sizewell C in Suffolk. You will ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence while managing welding and fabrication teams on site.

The role requires ten years in nuclear or equivalent heavy industry, with strong leadership, Control of Work knowledge, and radiography and lifting operations experience. Onshore, with UK residency and security vetting, is expected.

Qualifications

• Ten years post-apprenticeship in nuclear, petrochemical, oil, gas or similar construction.
• Onshore Construction Manager with multidisciplinary leadership experience.
• Strong track record in complex fabrication within heavy industry.
• Experience managing welding and fabrication workforce directly.
• Knowledge of Control of Work and lifting operations.
• Ability to interpret drawings, RAMS and ITPs.
• SMSTS and CSCS credentials held at manager level.
• Able to meet UK security vetting and residency requirements.

Responsabilités

• Plan and manage daily bunker site activities through sequence planning.
• Lead section engineers, site engineers and welding teams across shifts.
• Deliver works against programme; manage labour, plant, materials and productivity.
• Coordinate logistics, craneage and handling of panels and assemblies.
• Manage interfaces with building teams, temporary works and site logistics.
• Lead Control of Work, RAMS, lift plans, permits and hot works.
• Promote safety culture with inspections and incident investigations.
• Maintain ITPs, stainless steel cleanliness and QA records; close non-conformances.
• Track resources against budget and record changes.
• Support planning, methodology and resource build-up for Steps 3 and 4.
