The Role

A Project Manager is required by multiple Omexom Business Units to play a key part in our organizational success, ensuring commitments to our customers are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

The job holder will have a proven track record of project delivery and experience in developing diverse teams.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, duties include:

• Ownership of deliverables related to time, cost, and quality, ensuring safe project delivery.
• Promoting a positive health and safety culture at all times.
• Leading, developing, and supporting project teams.
• Using excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external partners.
• Representing Omexom professionally in various situations with stakeholders.
• Leading projects within our governance framework.
• Collaborating with the Sales team on bid opportunities and creating detailed project plans.
• Managing objectives for project team members to ensure deliverables are met.
• Controlling project costs to achieve productivity targets.
• Maintaining effective communication internally and externally to foster trust and secure future business.
• Challenging organizational and subcontractor processes to provide value to customers.
• Managing requirements, claims, non-conformance, costs, and lessons learned processes.
• Building and maintaining up-to-date project plans.

Essential Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with:

• A degree in engineering, business, or project management
• Ability to meet targets in a commercial environment
• Experience managing budgets
