Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Project Manager within the Transport Projects and Programmes team in the Environment and Transport Department. The role focuses on improving governance and risk management for the capital programme and leading a small team that provides coordination and programme management support.

You will identify and develop improvement programmes, manage delivery to time, cost and quality, and drive continuous improvement across services for residents.

Qualifications

• Degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent.
• Experience delivering projects and programmes to time, quality and cost.
• Experience in a commercial environment relating to design, management or administrative processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage tight timescales.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and partners.
