As Transport Projects & Programmes Team Manager, you will provide visible leadership across a multidisciplinary team responsible for business case development, commissioning, programme management, monitoring, design and delivery of transport projects and programmes.
You will oversee a wide range of initiatives, from advanced design projects and maintenance schemes through to major transport infrastructure projects and developer-funded programmes. You will commission and monitor service delivery to ensure quality, value for money, and customer focus, whilst leading performance management, continuous improvement, and innovation across the service.
Acting as a key representative of the council for consultations, public meetings, and stakeholder forums to support the successful development and delivery of major transport improvement schemes.
Working closely with elected members, government bodies, contractors, consultants, stakeholders, and local communities, you will play a key role in shaping the future transport network and driving service excellence.
