Job Title:

Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

Job Description

Accountable for the successful planning and implementation of large scale, complex change and client transition projects within a BPO contact centre . Manage projects through their complete lifecycle from initiation to close down and handover to the business. Manage projects using the agreed project management methodologies and documentation to ensure delivery is in line with scope, objectives, timeline and budget. Ensure effective governance, tracking, reporting and communication is in place to keep stakeholders up to date with progress, risks and issues.

Fixed term contract for up to 12 month's.

ACCOUNTABILTIES & DELIVERABLES

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects in line with the agreed scope, objectives and timeline
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables and complete the agreed project initiation process
  • Produce and maintain detailed project plans including activity plans and project timeline
  • Lead and coordinate the activity of the project team, workstream leaders and subject matter experts
  • Manage and track project spend v budget
  • Track and report on project progress to stakeholders
  • Report and track project risks
  • Identify and implement contingency actions to mitigate risk
  • Ensure issue escalation process implemented when required
  • Implement effective project governance structure to manage delivery, track progress and resolve issues
  • Build effective working relationships with project sponsor and stakeholders
  • Completion of all project documentation in line with agreed project framework and approach
  • Quality assurance - promote and track adherence to the project management standards agreed across Concentrix
  • Build strong working relationship with the PMO and other project managers
  • Line Management responsibility of project managers, acting as a coach and escalation support
  • Oversees and enables delivery of transition projects for a nominated Concentrix region
  • Lead as a transition SME to business leaders of sites/country and their portfolio of projects where required, providing guidance and support in shaping delivery plans, solution proposals and enabling implementation

PERSON SPECIFICIATION

Essential

  • Direct work experience as project manager
  • Experience of project managing complex change and transition projects – multiple internal/external/ Client stakeholders, multiple workstreams, multiple locations/ off shore
  • Experience and understanding of project management methodologies and project lifecycles and associated deliverables and control gates
  • Self starter, self led and able to deliver large complex projects with minimal support required.
  • Experience of using project management tools to scope, implement and close a project
  • Proficient in use of project methodologies, systems and governance in all projects - routinely showcasing best practice.
  • Good working knowledge of project management software plus MS office applications including: MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Maintain effective Project Governance, & consistent use of Global PMO recommended templates, controls & processes; Independently develops comprehensive project plans considering scope, schedule, resources, risks, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with timely and succinct updates, with minimal coaching required
  • Communicates project progress, risks, and issues clearly and effectively to stakeholders using appropriate channels
  • Adapts quickly to changing project requirements and environments, adjusting plans and strategies as needed to ensure project success.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and schedules
  • Strong team working skills – ability to influence immediate project team and stakeholders, able to define boundaries and hold individuals & functions to account
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - Adapts style & approach of communications to stakeholders / appropriate audience
  • Experience of working with Board and Director level roles - Adapts style & approach of communications to stakeholders / appropriate audience

Desirable

  • Operational Experience in a Contact Centre environment / BPO
  • Project Management qualification – MSP/Prince 2/ Agile / Lean Sigma or similar experience
