Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

Job Description

Accountable for the successful planning and implementation of large-scale, complex change and client transition projects within a BPO contact centre. Manage projects through their complete lifecycle from initiation to close down and handover to the business. Manage projects using the agreed project management methodologies and documentation to ensure delivery is in line with scope, objectives, timeline, and budget. Ensure effective governance, tracking, reporting, and communication are in place to keep stakeholders updated on progress, risks, and issues.

Fixed term contract for up to 12 months.

Accountabilities & Deliverables
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects in line with the agreed scope, objectives, and timeline.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, and complete the project initiation process.
  • Produce and maintain detailed project plans, including activity plans and timelines.
  • Lead and coordinate the project team, workstream leaders, and subject matter experts.
  • Manage and track project spend against budget.
  • Track and report on project progress to stakeholders.
  • Report and track project risks and implement contingency actions to mitigate them.
  • Ensure issue escalation processes are followed when required.
  • Implement effective project governance structures to manage delivery, track progress, and resolve issues.
  • Build effective working relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Complete all project documentation following the agreed framework and approach.
  • Promote quality assurance and adherence to project management standards across Concentrix.
  • Build strong relationships with the PMO and other project managers.
  • Provide line management, coaching, and escalation support to project managers.
  • Oversee and enable delivery of transition projects for designated regions.
  • Lead as a transition SME, providing guidance and support to business leaders and project teams.

Person Specification
Essential
  • Proven experience as a project manager, especially managing complex change and transition projects with multiple stakeholders, locations, and offshore teams.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and lifecycle control gates.
  • Self-motivated and capable of delivering large projects with minimal support.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, including MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including working with senior leadership.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Desirable
  • Operational experience in a contact centre/BPO environment.
  • Project management certifications such as MSP, Prince2, Agile, Lean Sigma.
