Job Title: Project Manager Fire Security Access Control

Location: London / Hertfordshire

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 + Car

Job Type: Permanent

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee fire security, access control, and IRS systems projects. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects effectively.
2. Create and revise project plans and work breakdown structures.
3. Manage daily project tasks and lead project meetings with clients, suppliers, and third parties.
4. Provide regular updates on project progress to internal teams and clients.
5. Negotiate to resolve project risks and issues.
6. Control project scope and manage changes.
7. Develop and maintain project documentation.
8. Ensure adequate resourcing for projects.
9. Be hands-on when necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
10. Conduct project handovers upon completion.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. In-depth knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
2. Experience managing the full project lifecycle.
3. Relevant qualifications such as FIA, NSI, LPCB, C&G.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively and motivate teams.
6. Strong presentation skills, capable of explaining complex ideas to diverse audiences.
7. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Previous experience with CCTV, Access Control, and security systems.
9. Construction industry or Fire & Security systems experience is preferred.
10. Clear criminal record and able to pass security industry screening.
