Job summary

Invision Group is recruiting a Project Manager for fast-track retail refurbishments and rollout across London and surrounds. You will oversee a portfolio of live-store projects, from pre-construction through handover, in a high-volume retail environment, with scope including M&E and refrigeration packages.

The role requires strong programming, planning, and stakeholder management, with travel across London and beyond as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Manager in retail fit out or refurbishment.
• Strong experience delivering supermarket, food retail or live-store projects.
• Strong programming and planning skills.
• Good understanding of M&E and refrigeration packages.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage project programmes using Microsoft Project.
• Prepare phasing plans and sequencing of works.
• Oversee Site Managers and site teams.
• Attend and chair client progress meetings.
• Coordinate design and technical review meetings.
• Review Health & Safety documentation and site compliance.
• Manage material and plant procurement.
• Monitor programme, quality and project progress.
• Support the commercial team and Project QS.
• Obtain subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Record client variations and changes.
• Assist with monthly valuations.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Project Manager - Fast Track Retail Fit Out

Location: London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: Up to £85,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Expenses + Discretionary Bonus

Invision Recruitment are currently working with an established specialist fit-out contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of fast-track retail refurbishment and rollout projects.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a food retail, supermarket or high-volume retail fit-out background and will have experience managing multiple projects concurrently from pre-construction through to handover.

Projects range in value from approximately £100,000 to £4 million and are predominantly located across London and the surrounding areas, with occasional travel further afield.

Typical Scope of Works

Projects will include a variety of retail refurbishment and fit-out packages including:

• Mechanical and electrical installations
• Refrigeration works
• Ceilings, walls and partitions
• Vinyl and tiled flooring
• Gondola and shelving systems
• Live-store refurbishment
• Phased and out-of-hours works

Key Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of multiple retail projects, including:

• Producing and managing project programmes using Microsoft Project
