Job summary

Sizewell C is recruiting a Project Manager for enabling and earthworks, delivering major civils within a UK energy project. You will report to a Senior Project Manager and oversee multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning to deliver sea defences, earthworks and associated civil packages on time and to budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, CSCS, and proven delivery of major civil projects in safety‑critical environments.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience delivering major civil engineering projects in complex, safety‑critical environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to lead teams, manage interfaces, and drive multidisciplinary delivery.
Chartered Engineer or Chartered Project Manager.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and co‑ordinate civils works packages valued between £50m‑£200m within Enabling and Earthworks.
Support earthworks, sea defences, diaphragm walling, dewatering and excavation delivery.
Lead major milestones like Dewatering commencements and bridge/beach facilities.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders including Sizewell B and EA.
Manage interfaces across design, engineering, construction, and programme teams.
