Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer onboarding and mobilisation projects for an industrial equipment client in Peterborough. You will own projects from contract award through to handover, coordinating internal deployment teams and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong stakeholder management and planning skills, with hands-on experience in onboarding projects, risk management, and customer communication.

Project Manager (Customer Onboarding / Mobilisation)

£325 Per Day + 9 Month Contract -Inside IR35 -Take home £1017.66/week

Peterborough (Commutable from: Stamford, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Corby, Spalding, Wisbech, March)

Are you a Project Manager with onboarding / mobilisation experience, looking for a high-ownership role where you will take the lead on customer implementation projects from contract award through to operational handover?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, fast-growing industrial equipment business in a role where you will be trusted as the key point of contact for customers.

In this position you will lead the planning and delivery of customer onboarding projects, building detailed project plans, coordinating internal deployment and service teams, and managing budgets, risks and stakeholder communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

You will work closely with solution deployment, service delivery and sales/key account teams, chair customer and internal project meetings, and ensure equipment handover and operator training is delivered successfully.

This role would suit a Project Manager who enjoys owning delivery end-to-end, building trusted customer relationships and developing their skill set in a growing, specialist business.

The Role:

• Lead customer onboarding / implementation projects from award to handover
• Project planning, milestones, scheduling, budgets and risk management
• Primary customer contact; chair internal and customer project meetings
• Coordinate deployment resources, equipment readiness and training handover
• 9-month contract, on-site based in Peterborough with travel to client sites and some working from home available

The Person:

• Project management qualification or strong project management experience
• Experience delivering onboarding / mobilisation / implementation projects in an equipment environment
