Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Manager for a long-term contract. Project Manager

£40 - £41 ph + Long-Term Contract + High-Profile Portfolio + Cross-Functional Exposure

Site Based Role: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (Commutable from: Stamford, Huntingdon, St Neots, Ely, March, Wisbech, Kettering, Cambridge)

Are you a Project Manager or Project Specialist with strong Microsoft Project experience, looking for a long-term contract where you will take ownership of a varied portfolio and gain exposure across multiple areas of a well-established, global engineering manufacturer? On offer is a fast-paced role where you will lead allocated projects from concept through delivery, driving plans, schedules, cost and quality while working closely with internal teams and external partners. You will join an established programme management function supporting a broad range of business initiatives, giving you visibility with key stakeholders and the chance to make a measurable impact through clear reporting, risk management and delivery focus. In this position you will build and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project, manage budgets and resourcing inputs, maintain risk registers and action logs, and support project leaders through coaching and stakeholder management. This role would suit a Project Manager with 3+ years' experience, confident communicating at all levels and looking for a role offering responsibility, variety and long-term prospects.

The Role:

• Lead allocated projects through concept, planning and delivery
• Build and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project
• Stakeholder reporting, risk management and progress tracking
• Resource and budget support, including cost tracking and documentation
• Site based role in Peterborough with occasional travel as required

The Person:

• 3+ years' project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, product development, R&D or similar
• Strong Microsoft Project experience with excellent Excel / reporting skills
• Confident communicator with stakeholder management and indirect leadership skills
