Job summary

CVL:LDN is seeking a Project Manager to deliver clean water mains replacement projects within long-term AMP8 framework contracts. The role emphasizes keeping projects moving safely, on programme, and with strong stakeholder collaboration.

The candidate will develop lookahead programmes, mitigate constraints, and ensure delivery aligns with the project plan, reporting progress and risks while adhering to client standards and SHEQ requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing clean water mains replacement projects.
• Ability to interpret and challenge construction programmes and sequencing.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage short-term lookahead programmes for water mains replacement works.
• Identify and mitigate constraints including permits, traffic management, materials, labour, and access.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure planned vs actual delivery aligns with the project programme.
• Ensure that works are delivered right first time.
• Ensure that all early warnings are submitted and compensation events submitted.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and inefficiencies, implementing practical solutions.
• Drive productivity improvements across workstreams and teams.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and outputs.

Project Manager Key Essentials:

• As Project Manager, you will work closely with the management and commercial team, playing a critical role in keeping projects moving and removing obstacles before they impact delivery on full turnkey projects
• Develop and manage short-term lookahead programmes for water mains replacement works
• Identify and mitigate constraints including permits, traffic management, materials, labour, and access
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure planned vs actual delivery aligns with the project programme
• Ensure that works are delivered right first time
• Ensure that all early warnings are submitted and compensation events submitted
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and inefficiencies, implementing practical solutions
• Drive productivity improvements across workstreams and teams
