Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Project Manager to join our Capital Delivery team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. You’ll lead projects through full lifecycle, coordinating stakeholders, contractors and delivery teams to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget outcomes.

We seek candidates with strong leadership, comms and delivery track records in water, utilities or infrastructure, plus NEC/CDM knowledge and an engineering/PM qualification. Hybrid working may apply.

Formación

• Proven experience delivering engineering, construction, operational or capital projects from initiation through to completion.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge where appropriate.
• Experience managing contractors and supply chain partners to achieve project outcomes.
• Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of project controls.
• Ability to make decisions, manage competing priorities and drive projects forward.
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience within the water, wastewater, utilities, engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and project management frameworks.
• Understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety requirements within a project delivery environment.
• APM qualification or equivalent.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Environmental or Project Management related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects from inception through to completion, managing scope, budgets, risks, schedules and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors, delivery teams and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain safe and compliant project delivery in line with NEC contracts and CDM requirements.
• Monitor project controls and drive decisions to keep projects within budget and schedule.
• Support maternity-cover needs within the Capital Delivery team across water, waste and infrastructure portfolios.
