Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Project Manager to join our Capital Delivery team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. You will lead projects from inception through to completion, managing scope, budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships to deliver outcomes that benefit millions of customers and communities.

We value a strong project management background, delivery of capital projects, and the ability to coordinate across internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering engineering, construction, operational or capital projects.
• Strong project management experience including programme management, risk management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge where appropriate.
• Experience managing contractors and supply chain partners to achieve project outcomes.
• Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of project controls.
• Ability to make decisions, manage competing priorities and drive projects forward.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception through to completion, managing scope, budgets, risks, schedules and stakeholder relationships.
• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget across Water, Waste and Infrastructure programmes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
