Purpose of the job
To provide leadership, direction, and strategy at a competent level on one or more multi-disciplinary teams delivering projects, ensuring customer requirements are met and Nuvia's performance and profit margins are maintained. Manage project start-up and delivery, meeting time, cost, quality, safety requirements, and managing risk.

Key Accountabilities
Delivery accountability
- Responsible for all aspects of project delivery including definition, design, procurement, manufacture, construction, and commissioning.
- Accountable for project financial performance.
- Ensure successful project delivery in accordance with the PMP.
- Manage project scope and deviations from the agreed scope.
Launches the Project
- Organize and hold the Inaugural Contract Review meeting and review tender files.
- Set up project team, allocate resources, define roles and responsibilities.
- Hold project start-up meetings.
- Establish effective communication with all stakeholders, especially client representatives.
- Support customer interactions with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Implement security requirements.
- Develop and communicate the Project Management Plan.
- Prepare project delivery, procurement, and safety strategies.
- Develop a robust basis of design meeting project requirements.
- Establish document and key deliverables schedules.
- Determine resource requirements and liaise to secure SQEP resources.
- Set up project management check sheets for key stages.
- Launch the Construction Phase with the Construction Function Manager.
- Manage safety case production where applicable.
- Establish schedule, budgets, and cost control measures.
- Set up WBS, CBS, and OBS, and align all structures.
- Implement cost control methodologies.
- Manage procurement and subcontracting processes, including specifications, tender review, and supplier selection.
- Manage purchase orders and subcontractors according to company processes.
- Monitor and control project costs, resources, schedule, and scope, and report regularly.

Occupational Skills and Knowledge
- Qualification in engineering or a related field.
- Project Management qualification.
Duties and Requirements
- Demonstrate professional standards and compliance with legal and technical requirements.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and negotiation skills to enhance Nuvia’s contractual position.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Project Management as a Project or Senior Project Engineer.
- Proven experience in engineering project delivery and competence in project management roles.
- Ability to deliver leadership, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
- Full UK driver’s license.
