Job summary

Red Rock Consultants Ltd, a well-established M&E contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple electrical installation projects across the Southeast, with current schemes in Guildford, Croydon and Cirencester. The role combines office-based planning with regular site visits.

You will lead project teams, manage budgets and liaise with clients, with some evening site inspections. A flexible approach to hours is available to accommodate school timetables.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services industry.
• Experience delivering commercial or education sector projects.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Plan and programme works to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out regular site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
• Produce project reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Resolve technical and commercial issues as they arise.

Our client is a well-established M&E contractor delivering electrical projects across the education sector. The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple electrical installation projects across the Southeast. Projects are predominantly within schools, with current schemes located in Guildford, Croydon and Cirencester. The role is primarily office-based but will require regular travel to sites to monitor progress, manage project teams and liaise with clients. As many school projects are completed outside teaching hours, some site visits will need to take place during evening shifts. Where late working is required, the business offers flexibility by allowing later starts or adjusted working hours.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (HNC/HND, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Standard office hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Office-based with regular site visits.
• Flexibility required for occasional evening site inspections.
• Flexible working arrangements available to support work-life balance, including accommodating school runs and adjusted start/finish times where possible.
