Job summary

Unify in Portsmouth, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee installation projects from planning through to handover. The role requires strong PM, commercial awareness and superb communication with clients, design teams, installation teams and supply chain partners.

You will manage multiple projects, develop detailed plans and budgets, and ensure delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience, ideally with an engineering, installation, construction, energy or technical background.
• Industry-recognised Project Management qualification.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets and resources.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple installation projects from initiation through to completion and handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements, specifications, timescales and quality standards.
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Plan labour, materials, equipment and travel requirements to maximise efficiency and control costs.
• Monitor project budgets, KPIs, performance and overall commercial delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
• Work with Design and Installation teams to interpret drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure Method Statements, Risk Assessments and technical information are available when required.
• Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety, environmental compliance and site-specific requirements.
• Ensure project documentation, including As-Built Drawings, O&M manuals and invoices, is completed on time.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and changes, taking appropriate action to maintain delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and ensure a consistently high standard of customer service.

Our client is a growing organisation operating within the power and energy sector, providing specialist installation and power solutions to customers across the UK.

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of installation projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.
