Dynamite Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Installations Project Manager in Havant to lead a varied range of M&E engineering and installation projects from planning through to completion.

You will manage several projects at different stages, coordinating engineers, materials and suppliers, tracking deadlines, costs and customer requirements, and ensuring on‑site progress stays on plan.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied range of M&E engineering and installation projects, from the initial planning stages through to completion.
• Manage several projects at different stages at the same time, keeping on top of deadlines, costs, resources and customer requirements.
• With the assistance of a Project Coordinator, plan and coordinate engineers, materials, suppliers and other resources to ensure projects are properly prepared and run smoothly.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the project, keeping them updated and dealing with any queries or issues along the way.
• Work closely with the engineering team on site to make sure installations are progressing as planned and any problems are dealt with quickly.
• Keep projects commercially on track, monitoring budgets, costs and any changes that could affect the original scope.
• Identify potential issues early and put practical solutions in place to keep projects moving.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors where required, including managing lead times and ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed.
• Make sure projects are being delivered safely and in line with relevant standards, procedures and customer requirements.
• Keep project documentation, programmes and relevant records up to date throughout each job.
• Be involved across the full process, giving you visibility from the initial quotation through to installation, handover and commissioning.
• Manage a mixture of projects, from smaller remedial works through to larger installations, with project durations typically ranging from around 6 weeks to 6 months.
• Build strong working relationships with the wider team and contribute ideas and solutions as the business continues to grow.

Starting salary: Up to £50K

Location: Havant - Office based with occasional site visits required, on a case by case basis
