Job summary

Vistry Group seeks a Project Manager to lead Collingtree development in Northampton, overseeing planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from start to finish. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources and teams, liaising with partners, customers, contractors and stakeholders to ensure quality and on-time completion.

The role requires strong health and safety expertise, commercial acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience on new build housing projects.
  • Experience in health and safety management.
  • Ability to analyse technical and commercial aspects of developments and apply solutions.
  • Operational, team-player with delivery focus in challenging markets.

  • Understanding of considerate contractor requirements to achieve high scores.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and welfare on site per safety policy.
  • Drive safety improvements across the project.
  • Lead successful project delivery with high quality, on time and to budget.
  • Manage internal and external teams to meet goals.
  • Develop and coach team members; provide feedback.
  • Motivate staff to deliver project excellence.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee all project communications.
  • Plan resource and supply chain needs.
  • Lead key project meetings with stakeholders.
  • Identify additional work and secure clear cost agreements.
  • Integrate commercial considerations into decisions.
  • Regularly review project programme for timely completion.
  • Adhere to on-site processes and quality management.
  • Induct and support staff; identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure quality standards across project through reviews.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team within Vistry South Central Midlands, at our Collingtree development in Northampton. As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and teams to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves liaising with Partners, Customers, contractors, and stakeholders, as well as handling risks, issues, and compliance.   • Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation
  • A good understanding of the considerate contractor’s requirements to achieve high scores
