Job summary

Vistry Group is seeking a Construction Manager to lead site teams from Coleshill with responsibility for planning, executing and delivering housing projects across the region. You will drive safety, quality and on-time delivery while managing costs and stakeholder expectations.

The role requires prior experience with high-volume house builders, strong leadership, and a pragmatic, collaborative approach to challenges. A flexible working style is welcomed alongside in-person site leadership.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager for a high-volume house builder.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SHE obligations and building legislation.
  • Proven ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Capable of implementing change and using initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Manage site teams to meet performance targets and align with business objectives.
  • Contribute to construction strategy reviews for new developments.
  • Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance across sites.
  • Monitor build progress, mitigate delays and report regional progress.
  • Participate in CVR meetings and ensure project financials align with budgets.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our team within Vistry South West Midlands, at our office in Coleshill, and supporting sites across the region. As our Construction Manager, you will be overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual agreements. The role also involves managing risks, ensuring quality control, and maintaining health and safety standards.   • Manage performance issues, disciplinary actions, and maintain a harassment-free environment.
