Yorkshire Building Society is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead change delivery, focusing on delivering tangible outcomes for members and colleagues. The role covers scope, planning, budget, governance, risk and stakeholder engagement across business and technology change.
You'll drive projects from initiation to implementation with strong governance and risk management, while coordinating across business, IT, risk and supplier teams and promoting continuous improvement.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of change initiatives that improve outcomes for our members and colleagues.
This is a delivery ownership role for someone who can manage scope, plan, budget, governance, risk and stakeholder engagement across business and technology change.
Lead projects from initiation through to implementation.
Own and manage project scope, plan, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
Establish effective governance, reporting and decision-making rhythms.
Coordinate business, technology, risk, finance and supplier activity to achieve agreed outcomes.
Support business and technical readiness, transition and implementation.
Manage stakeholder engagement and provide clear delivery narratives for sponsors and governance forums.
Apply lessons learned and continuous improvement to strengthen delivery capability.
Proven end-to-end project delivery experience.
Strong planning, governance, RAID and financial management capability.
Experience delivering medium or large business and technology change initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to simplify complexity, solve problems and maintain delivery momentum.
Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches.
A collaborative, outcome-focused mindset with strong ownership and follow-through.
Financial Services or regulated environment experience.
PRINCE2, APM, MSP, Agile or equivalent qualification.
Supplier or commercial management experience.
Experience supporting business readiness, benefits delivery or operational transition.
