About the role:

As a Project Manager within JCB Power Products in Wrexham, you’ll play a key role in delivering both current product upgrades and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused position requiring strong day-to-day coordination across multiple functions to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

You’ll be responsible for tracking cross-functional activity in line with established group processes, ensuring robust and timely product solutions are achieved. The role requires strong communication, energy, and a proactive mindset, alongside the ability to influence and drive progress across stakeholders.

What does this role involve day to day?

Project Coordination & Delivery

• Manage day-to-day coordination of current product upgrades and NPI projects
• Track cross-functional activity to ensure alignment with group processes and timelines
• Drive delivery of robust product solutions to agreed milestones

Governance & Reporting

• Lead and facilitate project and cross-functional reviews in line with established processes
• Produce, maintain, and report on key project metrics
• Ensure project documentation and governance standards are met

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans
• Support and manage escalations to ensure timely resolution
• Proactively address challenges impacting delivery

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project progress
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Present project updates, risks, and progress to senior stakeholders

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to improving project delivery processes and methodologies
• Support adherence to gated processes and business delivery frameworks

• You have project management experience within a manufacturing environment
• You have a good understanding of business delivery frameworks and gated processes
• You have transferable knowledge of powertrain or power generation (desirable)
• You bring high energy, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills
• You're confident leading cross-functional activity and influencing stakeholders
• You're organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities
• You have strong problem-solving skills with the tenacity to overcome challenges and achieve results
• You're comfortable presenting to stakeholders and managing expectations
