  • Liaise with all departments, consultants and contractors to execute the capital programme
  • Administration of NEC Engineering and Construction (ECC) and Professional Service (PSC) contracts
  • Proactive and timely handover to ensure client, customer and operational needs are met
Key requirements and experience
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant project management, construction or engineering subject
  • Hold professional membership or chartership e.g. MAPM, MCIOB, MICE, MRICS
  • Strong track record of project delivery and commercial awareness
  • Highly organised and able to work independently
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate a brief into delivery
  • Assertive of nature - able to challenge internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors in a positive and collaborative manner
  • Ability to operate in a 'lean' client model understanding the practical application of project management methods i.e. APM or PRINCE2
  • Desirable - Experience with projects in a port environment and / or supply chain related industrial environment
  • Desirable - awareness of DSEAR, COMAH or TASCC
Why should you make ABP your first Port of call?
