Responsibilities

  • 1. Production Oversight: Oversee the production of visual effects, ensuring work is delivered to the required quality, within budget and according to schedule.
  • 2. Team Communication: Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure everyone is aligned with the project's goals, priorities, and deadlines.
  • 3. Scheduling & Planning: Coordinate with the team to establish project timelines, schedules, and milestones.
  • 4. Progress Tracking: Monitor the progress of individual shots and overall projects, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary.
  • 5. Delivery Management: Ensure the smooth and transparent delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • 6. Team Support: Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful working environment, supporting the team throughout the production process.
  • 7. Brief & Note Management: Translate client briefs and notes into actionable plans, adapt schedules accordingly, communicate requirements with the VFX Supervisor, and structure the necessary steps to deliver the work.
  • 8. Production Coordination: Carry out any other tasks required to ensure the smooth, timely, and cost-effective delivery of the project.

Job description

We are looking for a highly structured and diligent individual who will play a critical role in translating decisions made by the VFX Producer into actionable plans, and communicating with the VFX Supervisor to define the steps, resources, and personnel required to deliver these plans within the project's creative vision, schedule, and budget.


The role requires meticulous creation and management of project schedules, as well as close monitoring of timelines and budgets. The VFX Production Manager must also be able to anticipate and adapt to challenges as they arise.


The VFX Production Manager will oversee the work of the Production Coordinator, ensuring that schedules are accurately maintained and effectively executed.


The role may also require creating or revising VFX breakdowns and communicating VFX shot lists with the Producer and Supervisor, while tracking shots and scenes from initial concept through to final delivery.


A crucial part of this role involves close coordination with VFX artists and technical directors across every stage of the VFX pipeline, ensuring that work is completed to the required standard and delivered on time.
