Job summary

Fifty5Blue in London is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Audience programme across IT, software, and cloud initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, track progress against milestones, and ensure alignment with budget and strategic objectives.

The role is based in our London office with a hybrid approach requiring a minimum of two days on site. You should bring PRINCE2 or PMP credentials and 5–7 years of PM experience, plus strong stakeholder and risk management

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of project management experience in IT, software or cloud infrastructure.
  • PRINCE2 or PMP qualification is required.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a detailed Programme plan with collaboration across Ops, Commercial, IT & Product.
  • Build relationships with other workstreams to support strategic direction.
  • Set mid-term and long-term goals; monitor stakeholder satisfaction, quality and team performance.
  • Develop a budget and operating plan for the programme and monitor expenditures.
  • Produce timely reporting of programme status and risk/issue management to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor project managers; drive continuous improvement and CI within the operating model.

  • This is a full-time permanent position, based in our London office. We operate on a hybrid working arrangement and require a minimum of 2 days in the office. About The Role

This role is critical to the implementation of various projects. It is centred around managing the Audience programme to deliver functional results to deadline; managing the programme in line with Fifty5blue’s strategic objectives; and ensuring alignment between and among key stakeholders. Ensuring that project execution is in line with the financial plan and budget is key as is the management of communications between stakeholders across functionalities (esp Commercial, IT, Product & Engineering).

What You'll Be Doing
  • Create and maintain a detailed Programme plan with the collaboration of Operations (Ops), Commercial, IT & Product
  • Develop a consistent relationship with other workstreams where appropriate to support the strategic direction of the Audience programmes
  • Create & manage mid-term and long-term goals, ensuring targets are met in areas including stakeholder satisfaction, safety, quality, & team member performance as appropriate
  • Develop a budget and operating plan for the programme
  • Develop an evaluation method to assess programme strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure programme goals are achieved
  • Meet with stakeholders, making communication simple and transparent around project issues and decisions on services, and chairing regular Ops programme meetings
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of programme status throughout its life cycle
  • Analyse programme risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions and report/escalate to senior stakeholders as required
  • Supervise the programme set up and implementation of new validated processes
  • Align with local and global stakeholders
  • Develop and/or approve budgets. Be the contact point for information about Ops, providing inputs for financial planning and ensuring process delivery according to the budget
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
  • Supervise project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
  • Apply change-, risk- and resource-management principles when needed
  • Read reports prepared by managers to determine progress and issues
  • Work to ensure that Continuous Improvement is at the core of processes, and that CI is built into the operating model
  • Ensure programme operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations

  • Experience: 5-7 years of project management experience within IT, software development or cloud infrastructure.
  • Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), networking, cybersecurity fundamentals and DevOps pipelines.
  • Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Kanban and traditional Waterfall frameworks.
