Job summary

Smart DCC Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, strategic initiatives across the Change & Delivery Office in a hybrid London or Manchester setting. You will manage plans, budgets and stakeholders, drive risks and change controls, and partner with internal teams and external partners to deliver change into operations.

The role requires at least 5 years of PM experience, strong communication, and PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' project management experience delivering complex, technical projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and third-party suppliers.
• PRINCE2 or equivalent project management accreditation.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of projects within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, government bodies, customers and third‑party suppliers.
• Drive successful project outcomes and support the transition of delivered change into operational business functions.

Project Manager | Hybrid Location: Manchester or London

How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of projects within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.

What you need to bring

• At least 5 years' project management experience delivering complex, technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external audiences.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering through matrix environments and third‑party suppliers.
• PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent project management accreditation.
• Strong commercial awareness, governance experience and proficiency in project management tools, including Microsoft Project.
