Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead warehouse and logistics automation projects in Corby on a 3–6 month contract.

You will oversee delivery from order through site completion, coordinating with clients, engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Role requires proven project management, an engineering background (HNC in Mechanical or Electrical) and familiarity with MS Project, MS Office, AutoCAD; SAP knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience on engineering projects.
• Engineering background with a minimum HNC in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in warehouse automation or automated systems preferred.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
• AutoCAD experience required.
• SAP knowledge beneficial.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish, including budgets, programmes and costs.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials and deliveries.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers and manage contractual requirements.
• Ensure CDM, H&S and quality requirements are maintained.
• Manage project documentation and handover through to completion.

Project Manager | Warehouse & Logistics Automation

Location: Corby

Duration: 3- 6 month Contract

Rates: £500 a day Outside IR35

I’m recruiting for an experienced Project Manager with an engineering background to work on major warehouse and logistics automation projects.

You’ll manage projects from order through to site completion, handover and warranty. The role will involve working closely with clients, engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

The Role

• Project Delivery: Manage projects from start to finish, including budgets, programmes, costs and forecasting
• Site Management: Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials and deliveries
• Client Management: Act as a key point of contact for customers and manage contractual requirements
• Health & Safety: Ensure CDM, H&S and quality requirements are maintained throughout the project
• Handover: Manage project documentation and formal handover through to completion

What I’m Looking For

• Proven Project Management experience
• Engineering background with minimum HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Ideally experience within warehouse automation, material handling or automated systems
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office
• AutoCAD experience
• SAP knowledge would be beneficial
• Strong communication and organisational skills
