United Rentals is seeking a Project Manager for a National role to lead the project delivery function across Europe. You will coordinate with Sales, Solution Engineers, and Foreman’s to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant bachelor’s degree, with IPMA/Prince2 preferred, and have experience in rental industries or turnaround

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (Desirable)
• IPMA or Prince2 certification (Desirable)
• Strong business experience in a comparable project management role
• Preferably experience in rental industries or turnaround activities
• Knowledge of Power and/or Fluid products and rental solutions is a plus
• Experience with matrix organizations and Lean or Six Sigma projects is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety with ability to complete comprehensive Site RAMS
• Valid driver’s license

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans with clear objectives, tasks, deadlines, and resource allocation
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing timely resolutions
• Monitor project progress actively and take corrective action when necessary
• Manage project budgets, advise on cost calculations, and report financial performance to management
• Ensure quality assurance through appropriate monitoring and evaluation
• Produce regular progress reports for management and stakeholders
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and supervise project teams with professionalism and support
• Support and develop staff, fostering a collaborative working environment
• Schedule and allocate work activities to maximize efficiency and resource utilization
• Provide training and mentoring to team members
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders to align expectations
• Coordinate with temporary branch offices, Sales teams, and departmental leaders
• Ensure clear, consistent communication across all project phases
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and address structural bottlenecks in processes and systems
• Implement process and project improvements to enhance customer value
• Conduct post-project evaluations to establish best practices and lessons learned
• Focus on reducing working capital and improving productivity

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to lead our project delivery function. About You

Experience & Qualifications:
