Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking a Project Manager to lead water infrastructure projects across the East of England, on a contract rate up to £475 per day. You will oversee end-to-end delivery of treatment and network schemes under NEC contracts.
You will be the main client contact, build strong relationships, communicate proactively, and manage teams, subcontractors, budgets and programmes to keep delivery on track.
Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire | Contract | Up to £475 per day | Outside IR35 (Subject to Determination) | 12 Months+
A significant, long-term framework with a Tier 1 contractor, delivering major upgrades to water and wastewater treatment assets across the region. The team is established, the pipeline is strong, and there is a gap at Project Manager level that needs filling by the right person.
You will take end-to-end delivery responsibility for a portfolio of projects, managing teams, subcontractors, budgets, and programme across treatment and network infrastructure schemes of varying scale and complexity. You will be the main point of contact for the client on your projects, expected to build a strong working relationship, communicate proactively, and deal with issues before they become problems.
NEC contract administration will be a core part of your week, compensation events, early warnings, programme submissions, and cost reporting. You will work alongside a commercial manager but own the process. The site team will look to you for direction and leadership, so clarity of thought and decisiveness are as important as technical knowledge.
Solid Project Manager experience on civil engineering or water infrastructure schemes. Real NEC contract knowledge and the ability to administer it properly. Water sector background strongly preferred. You will need SMSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, and EUSR Water Hygiene before starting.
Up to £475 per day, outside IR35 subject to determination. Initial 12-month contract with genuine extension potential on a framework with a long delivery horizon.
